A 28-year-old crash victim was discovered alive having spent two days in a mortuary fridge when his shocked family came to identify his body.
Msizi Mkhize was injured in a motorcycle accident in Kwa-Mashu, South Africa last week.
After being pronounced dead at the scene, his body was transported to refrigerated storage in a mortuary.

But shocked staff discovered he still had a pulse when his family arrived to identify him, The Evening Standard reported.
He was then rushed to Mahatma Gandhi hospital where staff spent five hours attempting to resuscitate him before he passed away.
His father, Peter Mkhize, told The Times: "I have no words to express how I feel about what happened to my child.
"To spend the entire night and morning in the mortuary refrigerator is wrong."
