Lads it's been confirmed, Matt LeBlanc has agreed to return to Top Gear and will likely double his money with a new £1m deal. Yeah, that's your license fee money being spend on Matt Le'fuckin'Blanc.
He was in Los Angeles on Wednesday promoting his new sitcom Man With A Plan. When he was asked about doing more Top Gear, he said: "I don't know. I'd like to. There's nothing officially happening yet. Follow the BBC."
Well that's changed, with BBC insiders telling the Mirror that Matt has verbally agreed to return and will sign a new one-year deal shortly.
National hate figure Chris Evans, who quit in July, had a £1m deal, with Matt taking home £500,000 for the last series - so the deal all but confirms Matt's new place as Top Gear's number one presenter.
A show source said: "Matt was one of the positive aspects of the last series. He is keen to return and we definitely want him back so it will happen - we just need to dot the 'i's' and cross the 'ts'."
The viewing figures have plummeted since Clarkson and co. left the show. What do you reckon lads? Will his bring you back into the fold?
