SAS soldiers are posting never before seen pictures of missions and weaponry on Facebook.
The images have been confirmed as genuine by a former member of the specialist unit and the 21,000-member Special Air Service page could reportedly be taken down.
Troops are made to sign a 'Group Policy' disclosure agreement, which bans them from revealing operational details, when they sign-up.

However, more than 2,000 pictures have been posted through the account, giving an never before seen insight into life in the elite unit.
A former SAS source told the Mirror that the information and pictures on the page had almost certainly come from serving troops.
He added: "The images on this site are current and genuine. These are not mock pictures - they're the real deal.

"Sometimes younger blokes want to see the profile of the regiment raised, but these guys have gone off-grid."

The SAS consists of some of the best trained and well equipped soldiers in the world.
The special forces unit traces its origins to the Second World War, and undertakes a number of roles including covert reconnaissance, counter-terrorism, direct action and hostage rescue.
A crack-team of Britain's best soldiers, the regular elements of United Kingdom Special Forces never recruit directly from the general public and historically the majority of candidates have a Commando or Airborne forces background.
The account has proven to be controversial but massive respect to troops serving in our armed forces.
