Stop Everything, You Can Buy Maccies Big Mac Sauce In Bottles

Big Mac sauce is a life-saver - and now you can buy it in bottles online, for a limited time only and only in Australia. Damn.

We all love a Big Mac. In fact, if you don't, you can just about stop reading now and go do something else, because you aren't welcome.

Right, now we've got shot of the losers, let's cut to the chase. You can buy bottles of Big Mac sauce online and even grab yourself a bloody Big Mac fridge to store them in.

If, like me, you habitually nick sauces from McDonald's, this will be brilliant news to you - although, unfortunately, you'll have to be in Australia to take Maccies (or Maccas, as you'd call it) up on the offer.

"Continuing the celebration of the iconic Big Mac, Macca's fans can bid to win a limited edition Big Mac mini fridge filled with three 500ml bottles of Special Sauce," says the listing on eBay for the sauce, which is being sold to mark the 50th anniversary of the burger and to raise cash for charity.

"Available exclusively to Australians, this eBay charity auction will donate all funds raised to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

"Aussies who want to be in with the chance to take home the mini fridge that features a Big Mac pictogram wrap, and the first three bottles of Macca's 2018 release of the sauce, will need to place your bids here before 10am Wednesday 6 June 2018."

The bidding currently stands at $1,825, or roughly the price of a pint in Sydney.

While the Aussies get all the best gear - they also got $2.50 chips and gravy at KFC for a while - there have been some promotions to savour for UK Maccies fans.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Big Mac in the UK, two special versions were released: the junior Big Mac, presumably for kids, and the Grand Big Mac, which is what I dream of when I go to sleep at night.

"As an iconic McDonald's product, we are proud and excited to be celebrating 50 years of the legendary Big Mac and for the first time ever in the UK, introducing the two new sizes for a limited time," said Steven Howells, McDonald's UK's head of marketing, when the Grand Big Mac was launched.

"We know a lot of our customers will remember the 1974 launch of the Big Mac in the UK and have continued to enjoy the burger and pass the Big Mac love on since then, it remains our most iconic burger."

Of course, the Grand Big Mac was for a limited time only, but there's nothing stopping you just buying two and combining the two.

It looks undignified, for sure, but then I regularly dunk my nugs in my milkshake, so dignity isn't really something that I have to worry about.
