The Rock Returned To WWE Last Night And Called CM Punk
Ever since his departure from WWE in 2014, fans have chanted for the return of CM Punk.
Last night he made his return to a WWE ring live on Monday night Raw... well, sort of.
Despite his departure, CM Punk's name has been displayed at the wrestling events, following his departure in controversial circumstances.
Any time the show hits Punk's hometown of Chicago, or the fans just want to piss Vince McMahon off, they'll chant in unison for the former leader of the Straight Edged Society.
Last night the audience were treated, not to Punk's return, but to the return of The Rock.
Before and after the show the Great One called Punk from the ring and left a message:
And Punk, who is now an MMA fighter with a record of 0-1, definitely heard the message:
Despite it being Wrestlemania season the Rock was sadly not back to announce his return to the 'grandest stage of all', but for his new film.
The former eight time world champion will play a role in a biography of the life of WWE diva Paige.
Stephen Merchant is set to direct a biopic about WWE diva Paige called Fighting With My Family. Dwayne Johnson is starring in the film, and Stephen is writing, producing and directing it.
It centres around Saraya-Jade Bevis, aka former WWE Divas Champion Paige, who was born into a wrestling dynasty.
The Bevis clan are an unusual bunch. Headed by former gangster Ricky, wife Julia, son Zack and sister Paige, they all wrestle professionally - and often against each other.

Florence Pugh, best known for her work in The Falling and Lady Macbeth, is signed up to play Paige - who is still only 24-years-old and started wrestling professionally at 13.
Despite her relative youth, she's had an insane career. Paige is a two-time Divas Champion and was the inaugural NXT Women's Champion in WWE's developmental branch, NXT - and the only person who has held both at the same time.
At 21, Paige was the youngest person to ever win the Divas Championship.
