There's A New Chart Comparing Pablo Escobar And El Chapo's 'Careers'

They might be the Messi and Ronaldo of the drug cartel world, but sadly for Pablo Escobar and Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán, there's no king-pin equivalent of the FIFA Ballon d'Or.
There is, however, now a chart created by Business Insider, weighing their criminal 'careers' up against one another.

Pablo Escobar was born the son of a farmer in rural Colombia. Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán, grew up in Mexico's rugged Sierra Madre mountains. Together they have delivered copious amounts of cocaine and other narcotics to the world.
As the chart shows, as Escobar's 'career' was coming to a close, El Chapo's was only beginning. This makes comparing their influence on the drugs world difficult - but it's safe to say the drugs 'business' would look a lot different today were it not for their respective influences.
