Run Forrest, run.

During an appearance on The Graham Norton show on Friday night, Tom Hanks once again proved he's a top lad.

Not only did the 60-year-old put an end to the debate over the viral photo that was taken in which nobody could decide if it was him or Bill Murray, he also recreated an iconic moment from 1994 classic Forrest Gump.

The reason? Because he was joined on the couch by four-times Olympic champion runner Mo Farah.

"I had worked out quite a bit. It was all about running and I must say my buttocks, as Forrest would say, were as firm as tinned hams," Tom Hanks said about his role in the movie.

Hanks noted his wife's reaction when she saw the film on television. "I want to see that one scene where you're running away from the camera, and we can look at that fine Hanks ass!"

But Hanks admitted his rear looks different 22 years later: "But in the day, man, I must say I even think it's a beautiful thing to behold," he added.

But it could have all been different. John Travolta was initially the first choice to play Forrest but turned the role down.
