A Romanian woman is alleged to have ripped off her husband's balls because he refused to do the housework. Holy. Shit.
Ionel Popa, 39, from Dragomirești, Vaslui County, in north-east Romania, was rushed to hospital with his scrotum torn open after his wife pulled them to punish him.
Apparently his wife, Marinela Benea, is not even sorry about the incident and has put it down to 'not knowing her own strength'. OK, then.

She said: "Ionel had been given a bottle of wine for a day's work instead of getting paid, and had arrived home drunk. When he gets drunk, he changes. All night he made me keep the fire on because he was cold and I did it to avoid having an argument. In the morning I opened the curtains and told him to go out and do some work, or at least to help with the household chores but he shouted that I'm not entitled to give him orders."
Marinela also said it's not her fault that her husband pulled away when she grabbed his balls.
They've been married for 15 years. Moral of the story: I really don't know, just pray it never happens to you.
Apparently, Ionel is stable in hospital recovering from his torn scrotum while police investigate.
