He has got some explaining to do.

In case you've been living under a rock, it's election day in the US and voters are heading to the polls in their millions to cast their all-important vote.

Son of Donald and fully terrifying human being, Eric Trump, took to Twitter to share his completed ballot. Naturally he voted for his old man. He even did a little hashtag, bless.

However, by posting this he is possibly breaking a New York election law and could find himself in a heap of trouble. Whoops. It is a misdemeanour in New York for anyone to 'show their ballot after it is prepared for voting'. There are also additional laws around 'ballot selfies'. Is that the most 2016 law ever?

Technically, the billionaire's son could face up to a year in prison.

Dozens of people were quick to point out Eric's mistake, leading him to remove it. Nice try, Eric, that shit has been screenshotted and is currently going viral.

Don't worry, ET, you're still not the most ridiculous member of your family. You're not even in the top two.
