Conor McGregor Settled A Huge Bar Tab At Post-Match Afterparty

Conor McGregor doesn't do anything half-arsed, so it's no surprise that the party he hosted following his boxing match with Floyd Mayweather looked incredible. Two thousand fans reportedly paid $200 (£155) each to get into the Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas and applaud the Irishman for his impressive effort against the still undefeated boxer.

If you missed the fight, you wouldn't have known McGregor lost by technical knockout, as he was all smiles in front of the crowd. Dressed in a colourful three-piece suit, sunglasses and an Irish flag, McGregor arrived just before 3am and told the screaming fans: "You'll never beat the Irish".

Can you imagine what the party would have looked like if McGregor had won?

According to the Mirror, The Notorious forked out $100,000 (£77,630) for his entourage to have what they wanted at the club. But that's a drop in the ocean compared to the amount of money McGregor is estimated to have earned from his fight with Mayweather.

McGregor received $30 million for participating in the match, however that could more than double once other aspects like ticket sales and pay-per-view income is included.

The Mirror adds that the party was the first night of a two-year residency deal McGregor signed with Wynn Nightlife. As a part of the agreement, McGregor will host four post-fight parties at XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club.

As for Mayweather, he celebrated his 50th boxing win at his strip club, Girls Collection.

He is also expected to have a very hefty bank account following one of the biggest matches in history; it's estimated he'll earn around between $300-350 million.

Mayweather announced his retirement from the sport following the bout, and says he wants to relax and enjoy some time off. As for McGregor, he's going to take a well-earned holiday.

At the post-fight press conference, McGregor - wearing a pretty eye-catching suit and with a bottle of his own brand Notorious whiskey in hand - told the crowd: "I'm gonna hit Ibiza. A childhood friend is getting married, I'm going to charter out a 100-foot yacht for the day, fuck that paying for the whole thing, the whole whack.

"And just rally for a day, have a big party on it, take a load of pictures, and then get the fuck off it. That's my plan. And then we'll see what's next."

The Irishman says he's open to competing in more boxing matches if bosses are happy to arrange another bout. Until then - he's happy to focus his sporting prowess on the UFC.
