Yet again, Zlatan Ibrahimovic produced the goods for Manchester United as he bagged a brace seeing his side claim the seasons first piece of major silverware.
United were made to work, though, despite racing to a 2-goal lead. Ibrahimovic opened the scoring courtesy of a brilliant free-kick which was followed up with a tidy finish from Jesse Lingard.
But on the stroke of half-time, Manolo Gabbiadini reduced the deficit. He then scored his second of the afternoon with asuperb instinctive finish.

Though with minutes left on the clock the big man popped up to grab a late winner. Ander Herrera served up a superb ball as Ibrahimovic nodded home.

United secured their fifth league cup while becoming the most successful English club surpassing fierce rivals Liverpool.

And then in typical Zlatan-fashion, he issued a peak Zlatan post-match interview.
"I came to win, and I'm winning!" He certainly is!
