Chess, anyone?

Let's just start this with me saying, I love Facebook. It's one of my favourite ways to waste my time. I hardly ever post, though, I'm just there, lurking.

If you're sick of your feed just being full of pictures of your friend's ugly kids in school uniforms then you'll be pleased to know that you can do more on Facebook than just judge people.

Because those clever little nerds at Facebook have included some hidden games within the Messenger app. I remember I fucking hated that app when it came out, but that was before I knew I could play e-basketball with my e-friends.

To get the basketball game, open the app, chose your friend, send them an emoji of a basketball, touch the basketball and then enjoy. Or, you know, lose interest after two seconds...

There's also a football game, just follow the same as above but send the football instead.

You can also play chess, but it looks like a bit of a ball-ache if you ask me. To access it open the app, pick your pal and then send: '@fbchess play'. Once the chessboard is up, you can then move the pieces to the numbered squares with your keyboard. So, P is pawn; Q is queen; N is knight, because K is king and silent letters are stupid etc. and to get them to move you'd type: '@fbchess Pf4' or whatever. See, what I mean about it being a ball-ache?

I don't think Sony will be losing any sleep over them, but I reckon these could become wildly competitive with my mates.
