This Pool Is So Cheap That I'm Starting To Question Whether I'm Awake Or Trapped In A Dream

This Pool Is So Cheap That I'm Starting To Question Whether I'm Awake Or Trapped In A Dream

"I need all of you to stop what you're doing and listen. Cannonball!"

If you can't afford to install a pool in your backyard, but still want to crack open a cold one at poolside with the boys this summer, then I've got some big news for you.

Asda is selling a huge (267cm x 216cm x 66cm) inflatable pool, described as 'the perfect pool to relax in'. What's more, it's going for just £30.

The bargain 'Family Lounge Pool' was spotted on social media by Kellie Swanton, whose public Facebook post has garnered over 5,000 likes and 16,000 shares at the time of writing.

With an approximate water capacity of 836 litres (221 gallons), and seating with backrests, it's hard to argue that it's anything other than one of the biggest bargains of the year.

A review on Asda's site said: "This Pool is fab! It's a really good size, the built-in seats are really comfy, and I absolutely love the colour! If you buy it you won't be disappointed, as it's awesome!!!"

Amazing, but when it comes to being the biggest bargain of the summer it's in for some stiff competition.

If you're planning to have a BBQ over the weekend - alongside your pool party - then you might want to head to Morrisons to buy what the supermarket calls the 'daddy of all burgers', launched right in time for Father's Day.

The supersize burger weighs in at 1lb (454g), the same as a football, and will be freshly made in store by the supermarket's own butchers. And - best of all - it costs just £3.

The beef is seasoned with paprika, sage and parsley, and is recommended by the pros to be cooked on a griddle, frying pan, or BBQ for four minutes on each side.

Morrisons' butchery expert Paul Robinson said: "All of our butchers will be making these mammoth burgers by hand.

"We think many dads will aim to eat the whole thing, but if their eyes are bigger than their belly, they can always share with the family."

The catch is that it'll only be available until Sunday. That gives you just a few days if you've got both the pool and the burger in mind for your weekend plans - still, for a combined total of £33, I'm sure you'll be in a hurry anyway.
