Man With Eight Kids Gets A Sick House And People Are Furious

Man With Eight Kids Gets A Sick House And People Are Furious

It's probably a lot nicer than your place.

A family-of-10 has expertly played the benefits system to land themselves a £425,000 home. Arnold Sube, wife Jeanne and their eight kids complained that their previous pad was cramped and that they needed a spacious four-bedroom gaff.

I would quite like a new house, but I wouldn't like to have eight kids, so I suppose I'll just put up with the hole I live in. If that's the trade-off, I'll choose one damp, leaking sink and cheap carpets that give you static shocks when you run upstairs.

The new abode, which is on a quiet estate in Milton Keynes, is pretty sick (sorry, I'm at the age where I get excited about big houses now) and would usually cost £1,200 a month in rent.

However, it does need to be said, the neighbours sound like absolute nightmares. They couldn't wait to talk to the Sun, without revealing their names, obviously, about the 'unfair' situation. Although, one seemed to be slightly in awe of Mr Sube, saying: "The father has played the system and won."

As an aside, I would like to point out that most people on benefits can't afford to eat and keep their homes warm, so please don't believe that this man is by any means the typical claimant. Also, if you are unhappy with this system, don't blame this fella. The worst thing about this man is that he's wearing a Liverpool FC top in one of the photos.

Tory MP David Morris told the Sun: "Families up and down Britain could never dream of affording a big house like this. Yet they are having their noses rubbed in that fact by being made to fork out for someone else to live like a king."

Perhaps unsurprisingly, when a journalist with a camera knocked on her door out of the blue, Mrs Sube wasn't keen to comment.
