A shocking video of a schoolgirl being scalped by a ferris wheel while trying to take a selfie has appeared online.
The horrifying incident took place in India, when the unfortunate victim, believed to be aged about 16, leaned close to the ride to get a selfie, the Daily Mail reports. When will people learn?
She had obviously leaned in just that little bit too close and managed to get her hair tangled up in the ride. She ends up with the whole lot getting ripped off. Ouch.

I guess she's in shock in the video, because she seems to take it all in her stride in the clip. I mean, that's a lot of blood gushing down her head and she's doesn't seem fazed.
In the clip you can see the girl's friend, who is covered in claret, try and comfort her as people work quickly to free the teen who was then taken to hospital.
