Dog Walkers Are Planning To Leave 'Dog Sh*t Minefield' At Right-Wing Rally

A Facebook page has been set up to try and sabotage the rally and they say they will clean up afterwards.

Dog walkers at a park in San Francisco are being urged not to pick up their pet's shit ahead of a right-wing rally being held there this weekend.

Crissy Field in San Francisco is hosting the Patriot Prayer rally after being granted a permit by local authorities. However, some feel the rally could turn violent, following the recent clashes between protestors and counter-protestors in Charlottesville, where one woman died after a car ran into counter protestors.

Those attending the rally are banned from taking guns, 'tiki torches', shields or anything that could be used as a weapon.

A Facebook page called 'Leave your dog poop on Crissy Field' has been set up, with this description: "Leave a gift for our Alt-Right friends. Take your dog to Crissy Field and let them do their business and be sure not to clean it up!

"Watch out for landmines, friends! We can get together Sunday and clean up the mess and hug each other!"

Terrence Ryan, who has organised the shit-fest, told the Independent: "I just had this vision in my head about a bunch of alt-right people running around in a field of poop.

"I made the event as a joke for my friends but it quickly spiralled out of control."

Many users have commented in support of the bizarre plan, saying it's the perfect non-violent way to show that people don't approve. One guy has commented, asking if he's OK to go along and empty his kid's dirty nappies, because he doesn't have a dog.

Not everyone is on board, though, as some say the field shouldn't be left covered in shit, adding that it's not fair to the people who look after Crissy Field.

The Facebook page does specifically state the poop will be cleaned up by the dog owners the following day.
