You may have noticed it's been a bit warm the past few days. However, despite the fact we've been told for years that we shouldn't leave dogs in hot cars (some lads in Scotland even named their fucking band after it) there's always a couple of idiots who do it.
And this year has been no exception. So, to help raise awareness, animal-lover Jess Ritchie decided to film herself sat inside her car in this boiling weather, with a thermometer so we could all see just how hot it actually gets in there.
I actually didn't realise how quickly the inside of a car heats up - it's unreal. The temperature rises from 35C to 41.5C and Jess looks like she's having a bit of trouble breathing and is sweating A LOT.
"This is absolutely horrible. I can't even think," she said shortly before deciding to end the film.
She lasts ten minutes in the car before she has to throw in the towel, which is a fair effort when you consider how hot it got in there.
Jess uploaded her video to Facebook and it's been shared over 6,000 times already. Let's hope it makes some pet owners think twice before they decide to leave their pooches locked in the car.
