Howdy there partner, ain't y'all just having a great time out on this here internet? A city-slicker like y'all probably gonna be mighty impressed when they find out what some ol' prospector way out in those new found lands of Australia only gone and done. Yee-haw!
Fuck it, I'll be stopping right there. I'm from Yorkshire not the wild west and it's 2016 not 1851.
That said, it being 16 years into the 21st century doesn't seem to have stopped a 'prospector' striking gold in Victoria, Australia, with the man in question discovering a 145-ounce gold nugget.

The big nugget has been named 'Friday's Joy' because it was found on - you guessed it - a Friday and is valued at over £140,000 ahead of an auction.
The 'prospector' has chosen to remain anonymous but has released a statement on his find.
"About 12 inches below the ground, I could just barely make out the top of something. As I began to scrape away the clay and dig deeper, I really couldn't believe my eyes - this wasn't an old piece of steel in front of me," the prospector said in the statement.

"I had just unearthed a colossal gold nugget - a once in a lifetime find! I was in total disbelief as I didn't think nuggets of this size were still around.
"It's like catching a big fish and not knowing what to do with it! Where do we put it? I washed it in water, covered it in aluminium foil and kept it in my oven on the first night."
The gold nugget is apparently now being hidden safely in a bank vault.
Fair play to the prospector who found it, I wish I would have found a massive gold nugget... would be lit.
