Australia Has Now Got Its Own Creepy Clown Problem

It wouldn't be October without a load of weird adults dressing up as clowns and putting the shits up kids, would it?

The bizarre craze has been happening for the past few years across the UK and the US and now Australia has decided to join in. So far, clowns have popped up in Sydney and Victoria.

There have been so many sightings of the creepy buggers that police have had to issue a warning statement. A spokesperson told the Daily Mail: "Victoria Police are aware of people who are parading in the public wearing clown masks.

"The clown purge appears to be a copycat of incidents being seen in the USA recently. Any intimidating and threatening as well as anti-social behaviours will not be tolerated and will be investigated by police."

There have also been a number of Facebook pages set up to share photos of the clowns spotted out in the wild.

One seems to show a clown who has been knocked out by the lad he tried to scare, which, to be fair, the idiot should probably expect.
