New Zealand Town 'Meth Free' After Gang Delivered Ultimatum To Dealers

A gang leader told dealers they had 24 hours to get out of town.

Last week we told you about the Kiwi Tribal Huk gang who gave meth dealers 24 hours to get the hell outta town.

Well, now, a gang source has said that the operation was a massive success and that the New Zealand town of Ngaruawahia in the North Island is 'P-free'.

President of the gang (was it just me who didn't realise gangs had 'presidents?') Jamie Pink gave all the meth houses, known as P houses in New Zealand, the ultimatum at a public meeting. I used to have to cover council meetings and I can honestly say in all my years doing that I never once had a gang leader give an ultimatum to meth dealers. They do things differently in New Zealand, don't they?

Anyway, because Mr Pink is a reasonable sort of chap, he gave the dealers a 6.30pm deadline the following day and it has now been reported in Stuff.co.nz that the gang are pleased to announce that all 10 of the meth houses had been 'decommissioned' and that only one dealer was assaulted.

The source said: "Those that listened were escorted out. Those that didn't were handled and escorted out. There are no more P dealers in Ngaraz."

However, Commander Inspector for the Western Waikato area Naila Hassan said that police hadn't received any reports of violence from 6pm on the Friday right through the weekend. But maybe we can say that when drug dealers are assaulted they probably don't go to police?
