Disgusted Parents Slam 'Revolting' B&M Babygrow For Making Sexual References

Dodgy is this.

B&M Bargains has come under fire from parents after selling a babygrow with a controversial 'sexualised' slogan on the front.

Placed in the store next to other items aimed at tots and infants, the white sleep suit is emblazoned with the slogan: "All mummy wanted was a back rub," in big, black lettering.

The babygrow was snapped by Mumsnet user jarhead123, she shared a photo of it alongside the caption: "Am I being unreasonable for thinking this babygrow is awful?"

It all kicked-off from there.

"If 'Mummy' did not want sex," responded one, "then she was raped. This trivialises rape and that is never okay. How are these things allowed to exist?"

"Totally inappropriate" and "Gross and crass," read more of the criticism levelled at the babygrow.

"It implies she didn't want a child, which is still a pretty horrible thing to find when you're looking through your baby photos in ten years time," added another mum.

Some mothers even said that they had seen items of baby clothing with similar off-colour slogans.

One mum explained "My husband was given one of the 'All daddy wanted was a blowjob' vests by his ex boss when our first daughter was born."

B&M Bargain said in a statement to LADbible: "We have asked our supplier to withdraw this item from the range and will no longer be selling this product. We have also taken the decision to remove any remaining products from our stock in stores and distribution centres and will dispose of the small number of remaining products. We would like to apologise for any offence caused by this item."

This isn't the only shocking revelation to have come out of Mumsnet, last year some of the forums users said their children still need their bums wiped at age 12.

It all started after one user called 'Changed My Mind' said her six-year-old kid throws a strop if asked to wipe his own bum.

She said: "He wipes it at school, but refuses to do it at home, insisting me or his dad does it.

"I've just refused and he's currently having a meltdown on the toilet."

Six is nothing, though, compared to one mum, who wipes all her kids up to the age of 12.

She wrote: "I wipe all my kids. Oldest is 12.

"It would be cruelty leaving him dirty when he has an upset stomach. I doubt I will be wiping his bum when he is 16 or 24.

"There will come a point when he wants me to stop. Probably over the next year."

Another user said she wipes her nine-year-old's bum 'when she needs a bit of a hand', and would not rule out assisting her when she's 12.
