Two 'Human Barbies' Are Competing With Each Other On Instagram
Lots of girls dream about being Barbie, but few decide to take their dreams to the next level.
One woman who never gave up that dream, however, is Anella. An architect from Poland, she has spent somewhere in the region of thirty grand on plastic surgery that makes her look like the famed doll.
That includes a nose job, a boob job and work on her lips that she claims has allowed her to 'achieve the perfect look of a Barbie doll'.
You'd think that there'd only be space for one Barbie in Poland, but it turns out that there is a competitor to Anella's crown.
Wiktoria Sypucinska, the platinum blonde star of Warsaw Shore - the Polish equivalent of Jersey Shore and Geordie Shore - has also undertaken significant efforts to make herself into the doll of her dreams.
Local media in Poland have suggested that Wiktoria has had work done to challenge Anella, with her lips coming in for particular comment.
The pair have certainly taken different approaches to achieving their ideal Barbie look, but their social media stats show that they're running each other close in the popularity stakes.
Anella is currently winning the online battle, with 138,000 followers on Instagram, narrowly beating out the 134,000 that Wiktoria can boast.
Of course, the pair have a long way to go to compete with their near neighbour, Ukrainian Barbie Valeria Lukyanova.
Winner of the Miss Diamond Crown of the World in 2007, Valeria has got half a million Instagram followers and claims that, unlike Anella and Wiktoria, her body is the result of pure hard work in the gym. Ok, and plastic surgery.
"I am not hiding that I've had plastic surgery," she told the Sun back in 2013. "I had breast implants because I want to be perfect."
Valeria is known for posting snaps of her hard at work in the gym and showing off her enviable physique, though many doubt that it is all her own work and suspect that she might have had a surgeon or two instead of a personal trainer.
