This Girl Recorded A Ghost Child Screaming And It's Horrible

Spooky.

A wise man once said, 'I ain't afraid of no ghosts' but I can honestly say that if I came face to face with one I'd shit myself.

The thing about ghosts, though, is that often people claim that they didn't see anything at the time and that it was only when they looked back on the photograph or video that seen how close they'd come to an other-worldly encounter.

Like 19-year-old Katy Morritt, who was on a ghost hunting vigil at The Village, a grade II listed building in Mansfield. She took some photos, filmed some video but didn't see anything ghostly on the night. Generally filming a night out in Mansfield brings different results.

In fact, like all good ghost stories, it was only the next day when Katy took a look at the footage that she spotted the face of a ghost kid.

She was also lucky/unlucky, depending on how you feel about hauntings, to capture a 'piercing scream'. The Village is said to be haunted by a lady called Catherine and her little boy, who were murdered inside.

Katy reckons it was none other than the younger murder victim screaming in her video, and who are we to argue?

Katy said: "My blood ran cold when I listening back to the footage.

"When they were asking for a little boy you could hear as plain as day a little child's scream.

"We didn't hear it on the night, and no-one else there acknowledged it, but the following day we listened back and you could hear it as clear as anything. It makes me go cold just talking about it now."

OH SHIT. I didn't even know ghosts could scream. This adds a whole new terrifying element.

Ghost kids

The ghostly presence of murdered children is more common than you think.

Earlier this month, a woman reckons she captured the ghost of 12-year-old Edward V on camera. She also thinks that in doing so she managed to solve a centuries' old mystery. Edward V and his little brother were rumoured to have been killed by their evil bastard uncle Richard III in 1483.

The two young lads were taken to the Tower of London by their uncle and never seen again; but nothing was ever proved. Until now, obviously, when with any luck the kids can tell everyone what happened. If they can scream surely they can give evidence in court?

This one is too much. I refuse to believe this.

I mean, I'm not calling 13-year-old Harper Kurtz, who took the picture, a liar, but I 100 percent think that is just a kid in the seat behind her and definitely not a ghost.

If there is no kid behind her (and her and her mum Melissa both say they're absolutely wasn't), then we are dealing with a real ghost here, guys.

Harper and Melissa bucked the trend a bit here, because they didn't notice they'd captured a spirit on camera for a whole month.

Melissa said: "It was a real 'Oh my God' moment. I was really shocked by it, incredibly shocked. I ran into the other room and said to friends who were staying with me 'you have to see this'. Everyone was awestruck.

"I think it's very important to the world to see that picture because I know it's genuine and real and we were the only two in the car."

Oh, and if ghost kids aren't your thing, check out this ghost dog:

So, what do we think?
