Troll Who Posted Disgusting Images Of Katie Price's Son Sacked

He has got what he deserves.

An online troll who mocked Katie Price's disabled son, Harvey, has been sacked after being exposed by the media.

Mark Williams, 30, taunted the 14-year-old in a string of horrific messages to Katie and he remained virtually silent when confronted by The Sun about his online comments.

Williams has been sacked from his job at a window-manufacturing firm in Portrack, Stockton-on-Tees, after sending messages on Twitter which were homophobic and targeted at disabled people.

He also championed Adam Johnson, the footballer who was convicted last year of being a paedophile, calling him his 'new favourite player'.

A former colleague of Williams told the Sun: "He no longer works here. He got sacked today. We don't know much about it but we were told this morning he's definitely gone."

It comes after Williams shrugged his shoulders when approached by The Sun at the home of his parents in Thornaby, Teesside, and said: "I'm not interested."

But Katie Price's son, Harvey, 14, has been the object of much of his hate.

In one post he altered a picture of a bag of Haribo sweets to read: "Harveybo" and said: "I've got some sweets for Harvey here. I hope he chokes on them."

He also described him as a "poor c***" and made a series of derogatory comments about his background.

Last year the Crown Prosecution Service issued new guidance that revealed trolls could end up in court.

The Director of Public Prosecutions, Alison Saunders, said: "The internet is not an anonymous place where people can post without any consequences. People should think about their own conduct.

"If you are grossly abusive to people, if you are bullying or harassing people online, then we will prosecute in the same way as if you did it offline."

However, a Cleveland Police spokesperson said they had not received an official complaint about the trolling.

This isn't the first time trolling has been in the news this week...

Online Trolls Target Boxing Champ

IBF world heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua was subjected to a barrage of abuse from trolls after he posted a photo of himself praying in a mosque in Dubai.

The keyboard warriors responded to his post with comments such as: "disappointed, won't be watching you again. Your religion is full of hate, paedos and violence" and "Islam has ruined Arab countries, now they want to bring it to our beautiful Christian countries and ruin ours too? BYE!"

The rest of them are so poorly spelt I can't even be bothered trying to translate.

Others told Joshua that they would be unfollowing, which I'm sure he lost sleep over...

There were also plenty of fans who posted to defend Joshua's right to post a photo of himself in a mosque.

Despite the pictures, Joshua has previously said, "I don't have a preferred religion: I'd have to do research. I was born a Christian but as I've grown into my own man I don't attach myself to a religion; 100 percent I have faith. Then it's locking into what suits me."

All of this comes before Joshua's heavily anticipated fight with Wladimir Klitschko on 29 April, when Joshua will try to add the WBA 'super' belt to his IBF title.
