A YouTuber has alleged that he was 'kicked off' a Delta flight at Heathrow for speaking Arabic to his mum.

Adam Saleh, who has 1.6 million followers on the video site, has said he was escorted off a flight from London to New York after 20 other passengers complained about him.

Delta Air Lines staff escorted Saleh and a friend off the flight this morning and he caught some of the incident on camera. In the video, he shouts: "I cannot believe my eyes.

"I spoke a word and you said you feel uncomfortable. Why are you guys doing that?

"Just because I spoke a different language."

After being removed from the flight, Saleh was grounded in the airport and interviewed by police. He was not charged with any crime and Delta Airlines re-booked him on another flight to New York.

It is yet to be clarified exactly what happened aboard the flight, but in 2014 Saleh posted a video of a NYPD officer appearing to racially profile two Muslim men because they were wearing traditional Islamic clothes, only for it later to be exposed as a hoax.

He claimed the complaints came from 'six white people against bearded men'.

He added: "We spoke a different language on the plane and now we're getting kicked out. This is 2016.

"Delta Airlines are kicking us out because we spoke a different language.

"You guys are racist."

In a statement responding to the incident, Delta Airlines said: "Two customers were removed from this flight and later rebooked after a disturbance in the cabin resulted in more than 20 customers expressing their discomfort.

"We're conducting a full review to understand what transpired.

"We are taking allegations of discrimination very seriously; our culture requires treating others with respect."
