Unless you don't have the internet, in which case you wouldn't be reading this anyway, you'll have no doubt seen the 'distracted boyfriend' meme. You know, the photo where the guy walking hand in hand with his girlfriend has turned 180 degrees to check out another woman, much to his other half's shock and disapproval.

Well, it turns out that the girlfriend in the meme - whose real name is Laura - gets shocked by a lot of things.

Twitter user @ShortFormErnie found a whole bunch of other stock photos Laura has been in - and in a hell of a lot them she seems to be expressing shock or disbelief at something.

A lot of the time, it seems to be screens - or perhaps what's on them - that shock her. There's a photo of her wearing a pair of big blue headphones and her looking at a blue phone with her eyes and mouth wide open - what we'll call her goldfish pose.

There's another photo of her looking at a phone with a friend on either side of her, one where she's looking at a laptop on what appears to be a grassy hill, one where she's sitting with a friend at a table in a café, one where she's looking at her phone alone, one where she...well, you get the idea.

In some photos, Laura is wearing glasses and in some she's looking at a piece of paper rather than a screen, but the expression on her face is the same each time.

LADBible spoke to Laura and her distracted boyfriend - a model called Mario - about the success and memeification of the distracted boyfriend photo.

"For me it was a curious and funny photo shoot," Laura said, "especially when we had to make the photos like the meme, more humorous. When people saw us simulate those scenes in the street, they stopped to look and laugh and, in my case that I had to have a more serious face, I had a hard time to keeping it."

Antonio Guillem, who took the photo, said: "Because we were having a great sales response to our work, we decided to take a few risks planning a session representing the infidelity concept in relationships in a playful and fun way.

"As I always work with the same models, it was quite easy to create the situation even though it was quite challenging to achieve face expressions that were believable.

"Mainly, because we always have a really great work atmosphere and almost all the time one of the models was laughing while we were trying to take the picture."

To be fair, Laura does make that face very well. It really looks like she's watching 2 Girls 1 Cup for the first time. Or any of those awful things that, if you don't know what they are, we really would advise you to keep it that way. And certainly don't look them up while you're at work. Please.
