Jake Paul Says He 'Doesn't Know' If He Wants To Reschedule Tommy Fury Fight

Jake Paul appears to have poured cold water on Tommy Fury’s plans for rescheduling their fight

Jake Paul looks to have poured cold water on Tommy Fury’s plans for rescheduling their fight.

In case you’ve been involved in a social media blackout - Paul and Fury’s eagerly anticipated fight later this month was called off yesterday due to Fury battling a chest infection and a broken rib.

In a statement, Fury said he was ‘heartbroken’ about having to pull out the fight and said he ‘hoped we can get this fight rescheduled in the new year’.

However, Paul doesn’t seem to be keen on that idea, saying he might 'not give him the chance again'.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, the 24-year-old was asked what the chances were that he would ‘give’ Fury that fight in the future, to which he replied: “I don’t know. I don’t know if I want to give him it anymore. I might just leave him the dust. This was the biggest opportunity of his life… so it might be a little cynical but I think it be kind of fun to not give him the chance again.

“And he’s going to have to fight 20 or 30 more times if he wants to get that same pay day. So good luck. Good luck.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Paul left a voice message for Fury saying: “Tyson, I just want to let you know you're a f***ing bitch and so is your brother.

“This is an embarrassment and hopefully, you guys can get that vaginitis healed up super quick, you f****ing dosser."

Yesterday, Paul confirmed that his would-be opponent had pulled out of the fight due to a ‘medical condition’ and said he would be fighting Tyron Woodley on 18 December instead.

In a statement released a short time later, Fury said: "I am absolutely heartbroken that I have been forced to withdraw from my fight with Jake Paul due to a bacterial chest infection and broken rib.

"The beginning of my camp was going so incredibly and I never expected anything to come in my way from a victory on December 18th.

"I can’t express how disappointed I am and I really do hope we can get this fight rescheduled in the new year.

"I want this fight to happen more than anything. I’m now regretfully putting my focus on recovery and a further reschedule date."

Now it looks like he might need to do some sweet talking to try and get Paul to agree to that.
