Disney Is Selling 'Incredibles 2' Costumes For Superhero Dogs

Disney Is Selling 'Incredibles 2' Costumes For Superhero Dogs

If you're one of those people who believes that dressing up is only for Halloween, I hate to have to tell you this, but you're wrong. There's absolutely no problem with wandering down to Asda dressed as Superman any month of the year if that's what floats your boat, and I'm willing to fight anyone who disagrees.

But us humans shouldn't be the only ones with dressing up privileges, right? RIGHT.

Luckily, the Disney Store is now stocking Mr Incredible costumes for doggos, so the whole family can look like superheroes during the weekly food shop.

Priced at £20, the whole outfit also features an Incredibles harness... and a mask, just to make sure your four-legged friend really feels the part.

A description for the costume on Disney Store's official UK website reads: "Let your incredible pet officially join your superhero squad with our Incredibles 2 Pet Harness! Ideal for dogs, the bold costume features an appliqué Incredibles logo, and comes complete with a pair of goggles."

Yeah, they refer to them as 'goggles', but we all know that superheroes actually wear masks. Plus, if anything, shouldn't it be DOGGLES, amirite?

Naturally, people have been extremely excited to see what their favourite superhero fam has been up to, with the sequel turning the focus onto mum Elastigirl as the protagonist rather than Mr Incredible - something that writer-director Brad Bird has apparently wanted to do since he was involved in the last one.

Bird told the Disney Animation Presentation at D23: "It's so great to be here to tell you about the film. It's fundamentally a story about family...with this new film, we're excited to jump back into that world. We have controls able to do so much more than before.

"The whole world of Incredibles 2 is gonna be greatly expanded upon. We'll be seeing a lot more of Elastigirl."

While Elastigirl is busy taking the limelight, the Parr family also has to deal with Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers, while a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot.

Thankfully, we're also hyped that some of our favourite characters from the first film are also back to appear alongside the Parrs - including Samuel L. Jackson's Lucius Best/Frozone and the Parrs' fashion designer Edna Mode, played by Bird himself.
