The Poké day has dawned. That's right, Pokémon Go has officially launched in Europe, with users in Germany finally able to download and play the game officially.
Up until today, the game's developers, Niantic, had released the game officially in the US, Australia and New Zealand.
The company held back the release across the rest of the world because the teases wanted to limit the strain on its servers. The strain meant many users were unable to play the game.
As the game has now been released in Germany, it's likely it will be released across the rest of the Europe very soon - hopefully later today.

The Verge reports: "Android users can sideload the app directly onto their devices, while iPhone owners have been able to get their hands on the game by creating a new Apple ID that uses a US, Australian, or New Zealand region."
The release of the game has seen Nintendo's share price rocket by 25%, which is the biggest jump in shares for the company since 1983, because apparently nobody saw this craze coming...
Although you might want to opt out, a couple of days ago TheLADbible reported that the game might be being used as a tool of illuminati control.
It also means making a big choice - Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur. What you saying lads?
