Call Of Duty Leaker Claims Major Changes Are Coming To A 'Warzone' Landmark
Season 4 of Call Of Duty: Warzone is just days away, and fans are expecting some big changes to hit the battle royale's Verdansk map. We still don't have any real idea of what's going to happen when the new season lands on June 3rd, but a recent trailer teased that something is very wrong in Verdansk right now... we just don't know what that something is.
It's clear that things are starting to heat up in the battle royale of course, Players have heard the sound of howling wolves, mysterious bunkers have opened, hidden nukes have been found, and even cold war-era planes have been discovered. Something heavy is about to go down, and a lot of fans think it has something to do with returning character Captain Price.
Whatever Infinity Ward has planned for Season 4, the thinking is that the map will undergo some kind of major change in an effort to keep things fresh. A recent discovery from dataminer Geek Gaming via reliable Call Of Duty leaker The Gaming Revolution seems to have revealed what this map-changing event will be.
TGR explains in a new video (above) that there are multiple references in the Warzone files to the map's massive dam location being hit by missiles and collapsing. This, according to the YouTuber, will result in a portion of the map being flooded. He followed up his claims with audio files of rushing water, cracking ice, and that familiar howling of wolves near the dam.

There also appear to be references to a tank battle and radiation, which suggests the flood could have something to do with Bunker 11 and the nuclear warhead players discovered in there. Exactly when this dam-bursting event is supposed to happen in Warzone remains to be seen, but it's possible that this could simply be the first of many changes to Verdansk and Season 4 rolls on.
As always, we'll have to wait and see exactly what Infinity Ward has planned for us. But given the fact that the studio has talked about its intention to adopt a Fortnite-style approach to evolving the game, don't be surprised if we start to see these major changes take place in Season 4.
After all, there's no way there's a nuke sitting in a bunker that's not getting used. Not in a Call Of Duty game. Things are almost certainly going to get explosive.
