'Modern Warfare' and 'Warzone' Season 4 Reloaded Update Is Packed With New Content
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: Warzone just got a new Season 4 update, and it's a big one. The appropriately named Season 4 Reloaded update is available right now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and it's packed with new maps, modes, weapons, and other new content.
Lets get the worst part of this out of the way first, because I know you're all dreading it. Yes, this is another meaty update that will take some time to download. You're looking at between 22-32GB depending on your platform and whether you own Modern Warfare, or just have Warzone installed.
The good news is that once the update is downloaded, it'll take up minimal space on your hard drive. It's live right now, so if you're planning on playing tonight I'd maybe get moving on this.
So, what can we look forward to? There are two very interesting new limited-time modes for Warzone that I'm excited to try. The first is 200-Player Warzone, which does exactly what it says on the tin. Jump into Verdansk with a team of four to get involved with 200-player mayhem. That's up from the game's usual 150, so it'll be cool to see how much more chaotic another 50 players will be.
Battle royale players can also look forward to the Juggernaut Royale mode. In this limited-time mode, Modern Warfare's incredible powerful Juggernaut suit will drop at a random point on the battle royale map. Get to it first and clamber inside to cause as much destruction as you can before you're taken out, at which point a new suit will drop somewhere else.
Warzone is also introducing a few new features and items. Supply Run Contracts will challenge you and your squad to reach a designated Buy Station within a time limit. Reach it, and be rewarded with discounts on various items. There's also a new Spotter Scope, which can be used to look around without the telltale glint that a regular scope emits.

Modern Warfare isn't skimping on the new content, either. A new map called Cheshire Park will let players fight it out across a fancy London neighbourhood.
"Take to the townhomes for long sightlines, the stores to capture objectives through intense CQB battles, or take to the side streets to take some shortcuts," says Activision. "If you dare, try to challenge those who may set up shop in second story windows, phone booths, front yards, or scaffolding."
The update also sees the return of the Team Defender mode, a fun capture the flag-style mode in which players compete for control of a single flag. Points are earned for every second you can keep hold of the flag.
Finally, both Modern Warfare and Warzone will be getting a new playable Operator and sniper rifle. Roze is an ex-Ranger in the US Military, and a skilled hunter/tracker from the Colorado Mountains. Then there's the Rytec AMR sniper rifle is described by Activision as "one of the deadliest semi-automatic anti-material rifles an Operator can get their hands on".
All of this new content is accompanied by the usual raft of bug fixes, weapon tuning, and other general tweaks. You can read the full patch notes from Infinity Ward here.
