Celebrate Thanksgiving Weekend With 'Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4' Double XP

Celebrate Thanksgiving Weekend With 'Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4' Double XP

Activision and Treyarch are getting in the holiday spirit (no, not Christmas) by offering double XP in Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII from today.

This is thanks to Thanksgiving kicking off over in America, Canada, and a few more countries this weekend. For those unaware, Thanksgiving is a pretty big deal. Kind of on the same level of importance as St Georges day in the UK, but celebrations didn't peak when you was five years old.

Still, I'm not sure what the relevance between double points and "the blessing of the harvest" is, but I ain't complaining. Gimme that XP.

If you want to pay tribute to the holiday, or are already celebrating but hope to avoid spending quality time with your siblings, double XP starts at 6pm GMT/10am PT/1 pm ET today.

All important extra points can be earned in both Multiplayer and Zombies, with players even able to grab double Tier Boosts and Merits, as well as Nebulium Plasma during the first Black Ops 4 Quad Feed.

Even better, this week welcomes Black Friday, and Black Ops IIII is already on sale at a bunch of retailers. Some might say now's the perfect time to get stuck into the latest Call of Duty title, if you haven't so far.

What do you think about this news? Will you be jumping in this weekend? Should there be more double XP weekends? Make sure you let us know.
