Fortnite Welcomes Back Rare Skull Trooper Skin, V6.02 Patch Notes
The day has come, battle royalers. The highly sought after Skull Trooper skin, first launched on the Fortnite store last Halloween, has made its long awaited return.
Players late to the game, or day oners who didn't realise how rare it would be, will finally be able to purchase the Skull Trooper as part of Epic Games' Halloween 2018 celebration.
Owners of the original skin will probably be devastated - just like Red Knight owners were when that gorgeous outfit entered the market for a second time - especially those who paid hundreds for accounts which had one.
Anyone who buys this year's Skull Trooper can change the white parts of skin green, however, players who owned it from day one can turn it purple - and no one else can earn it - so OGs still have some form of bragging rights.
And to make it a even more different than last time, users can complete progression challenges to unlock a cool Ghost Portal back bling.
I wonder if the Ghoul Trooper - another spooky skin which released last Halloween - will hit the store again. Originals would really lose their sh*t.
LTM Disco Domination will see two teams of 50 compete to take control of Dance Floors spawned round the map, where the aim is to raise the Disco Ball from the floor without getting shot. The team who lifts the most and fills their bar fastest is the winner.
A brand-new Quadlauncher also found its way into the battle royale. It pretty much does what it says on the tin - "Fire up to four lobbed rockets in quick succession." The weapon comes in Epic and Legendary, hits 80/84 base damage per rocket, and has a 300 unit explosion radius. You can find it in chests, Supply Drops, and Vending Machines.
What do you think about this news? Will you buy the rare skin? Has it lost its value? What about the new LTM and launcher? Let us know.
