Fortnite V5.30 Update, What's Inside The Mysterious Purple Cube

Fortnite V5.30 Update, What's Inside The Mysterious Purple Cube

Epic Games has revealed brand new content for their Fortnite V5.30 update, but before we get to that - what on Earth is that massive, moving cube all about?

Battle Royale players have been left confused after a strange purple box appeared from a rift lightning strike and, of course, we all want to know what it means. Has this guy figured it out?

Maybe, but one thing players have been wondering the most is 'what's inside the damn thing?' Be warned, the answer may disappoint you.

Reddit user Gsonicfy [via IGN] found absolutely nothing in the centre of it. Zero. Zilch. Nada! Although this may be a little underwhelming, it doesn't mean something won't spawn from it in the future. This discovery was courtesy of a well timed glitch, so only time will tell what actually happens with the huge purple box.

Going back to the update, Epic has effectively given us an Impulse Grenade on steroids. Yep, the new Shock Grenade performs like an ordinary Impulse, an ordinary Impulse which has been mixed with a regular Grenade and Hop Rock for good measure.

If you throw this item on the ground, you can be launched quite a distance - all without taking any damage. If you chuck this at your enemies, however, it will send them absolutely flying, even if they're in a building! It will obliterate nearby walls or ceilings - pretty nifty when in the top levels of Titled Towers.

Also, a Solid Gold 50v50 LTM is coming to the game. The description reads: "All things that glitter are gold! Battle with all legendary weapons in the Solid Gold and Solid Gold 50v50 LTM's, available now!"

What do you think the purple cube is? What do you reckon about the new grenade and LTM? Make sure you let us know.
