Kanye West Is On The Hunt For Hideo Kojima In New York City
Multi-Grammy Award winning artist Kanye West is trying to locate Hideo Kojima in New York City.
Kojima, who departed Konami in 2015, has spent the last year or so developing Death Stranding with his own studio, Kojima Productions. He's also been travelling the world, updating social media he passes through places like the US and Europe.
He visited Valve HQ last month, to cuddle the one and only Lord Gaben. But now the Metal Gear Solid creator, who's stopped off at the Big Apple, has calls from a higher power - Mr West, the I Am A God rapper.
Kanye's search kicked off over the weekend, following a lengthy Twitter beef aimed at Canadian rapper Drake, another music artist fond of video games.
On 14 December, Kanye said: "Heard Hideo Kojima is in NY We need to meet Does anyone know where he is or how to contact him."
While it's unclear exactly what he's after, business or just a quick social call, notable names in the games industry are helping Mr West locate the legendary developer. Geoff Keighly, host of The Game Awards and bffls with Kojima, is just one.

I guess we won't learn of Kanye's intentions until the pair meet - if they do, that is - and until he posts about it on Twitter (which is very likely).
Perhaps the rapper wants a song featured in Death Stranding. Maybe he's just a big fan. Or, you know, Kanye may have prepared a pitch for a Kanye video game. Would you be surprised?
What do you think he wants? Would you like to know what they discuss? Would you like to see them work together? Let us know.
