The PS5 is now available for pre-order at GAME and will be on sale to the public tomorrow at Argos.
Since releasing last year the PS5 has routinely been out of stock with major retailers, leaving many gamers waiting for months to get their hands on it and play the latest games on a new generation of consoles.
Some of the stock has been bought up by scalpers, driving up prices and further restricting the supply in the face of overwhelming demand for Sony's current generation console, PS5's are available on eBay for well over retail price.
According to Sony the reason why PS5 supply can't keep up with demand is because of the lack of semiconductors, a global problem which is also affecting several other industries.
For those who want to pay the going rate, here's where your best bets at getting your hands on a PS5 in the near future are.
If you don't mind waiting a little while, Game is offering a series of PS5 bundles for pre-order with their next batch of consoles due to be released on November 4. The PS5 Digital Edition that doesn't include a disc drive is available for £359.99, while the standard console is on sale for £449.99.
If you're willing to go up to £469.97 your bundle can include an extra DualSense controller and either a HD Camera or 12 months of PlayStation Plus, for an extra penny more you can swap out 12 months of PlayStation Plus for £50 credit on the PlayStation Store. If you want some games with your console a £571.97 bundle will get you a PS5 along with Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and one of Ghost of Tsushima or Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
According to reliable Twitter account PS5 Stock UK, Argos has distributed its most recent shipment of PS5's to local stores over the past few days and they will be ready to go on sale to the public tomorrow morning at 8am both online and in store. Argos's website lists the standard PS5 for £449.99 and the PS5 Digital Edition for £359.99.
The next restock for the PS5 will likely come in November ahead of the busy Christmas period, though it's worth keeping an eye on Amazon for any potential stock releases before the end of the month.
Moving quickly is important for those wanting to get their hands on a PS5. EE released a number of bundles available only to their existing Pay Monthly customers which sold out within two hours.
