Rocksteady Hiring For Next-Generation, 'Highly Anticipated AAA Title'

Rocksteady Studios, a London based developer, is hiring staff for an upcoming next-generation release, and fans reckon a new superhero title is on the way.

The firm are known for their brilliant Batman: Arkham series, and it feels like an age since their last instalment, Arkham Knight, launched in 2015. Bring it back!

Anyway, Rocksteady took to Twitter to say they're after "incredible programmers, artists, and more to join us at our lovely studio in London." This was on 7 September - the same day that Spider-Man launched.

I mean this could just be a massive coincidence, but come on - Spider-Man is this years biggest superhero title, what better time is there to tease an upcoming superhero release? All aboard the hype train.

Open World Superman Game Has Lingered In Development For Years, Apparently

Rumours surrounding a new Superman Rocksteady game have been circulating for quite some time, and with some job listings asking for "broad knowledge of comics, novels, games, cinema, and popular culture relating to video games," it looks as if the rumours could be true.

Some listings also state that Rocksteady want to achieve a "90+ Metacritic" rating for the "highly anticipated AAA title." Ambitious - let's just hope they find the right people for the job, because we'll no doubt need more superhero action after we're through with Spider-Man. We'd be happy with another Batman: Arkham game, to be honest.

Here's what Twitter has said about the job listings:

What do you think about this news? Would you like to see a next-gen Superman game? Would you rather the Arkham series is revived? Let us know.
