Rumours Suggest Bully 2 Casting Calls Have Been Released By Rockstar
Red Dead Redemption 2 is, undoubtedly, one of the most anticipated sequels of this generation, and fans only have to wait a few more weeks to enjoy the Western epic.
However, there's another Rockstar Games classic that original players would love to see return, with a second chapter to the story - Bully, or Canis Canem Edit, for those who only know its tamer title.
The 2006 school-yard adventure follows James "Jimmy" Hopkins' quest to rise through the ranks at Bullworth Academy, and if these rumours are anything to go by, he could be making a return.
According to Rockstar Intel, Jessica Jefferies, a British casting director, is hiring for a new project from a "leading UK games developer."
It's reported that there are seven casting calls for an unannounced video game title, shooting motion capture roles at Pinewood Studios.
The casting is for teenage and young characters - there's even a direct mention of "College Professors" - where "Mild violence and profanity will be used in scenes with the young performer."
Like Intel said, nothing is confirmed at the moment and this report is simply a rumour, but you can't deny that the casting fits the description for Bully 2.
From throwing firecrackers or evading capture in lockers, to mowing the lawn as detention and committing truancy to visit the theme park - Bully didn't shy away from controversy, but it was one hell of a game.
It's been too long since we threw Algie in a rubbish bin, took part in classroom minigames, or got into an unwinnable fight with a prefect - so here's to hoping Bully 2 actually happens.
But what do you think about this news? Did you play the original? Would you like to see a sequel? What was your favourite thing to do at Bullworth Academy? Let us know.
