Somehow Our First Look At the PS5 Box Has Come From Burger King

Somehow Our First Look At the PS5 Box Has Come From Burger King

One crisp day in November all pre-orders are coming to those who wait - and it'll be a glorious day. Whether you're opening the door to an Amazon package or you're picking it up from a local shop, the weight of your new PS5 as you carry it in the box to your sitting room will be comforting and joyous.

But wait - we haven't seen the box of the PS5 yet, thank goodness Burger King wants to show us what it looks like. The fast-food giant is collaborating with Sony to give away PS5s and in the advert for the new campaign, we get our first glimpse of the cardboard box the console comes in.

As customers rip open comically large Burger King bags we can see that the box will follow the same theme as the console with clean white and blue hues and of course an image of the console itself.

To enter the competition we think you have to order Burger King's two for five dollar promotion on certain food items in the US as well as using the Burger King app - as the ad says "At Burger King, when you order a two for five, you might get a side of PS5". If we hadn't already preordered our consoles then we might be thinking about moving to the States as soon as possible to catch the promotion as it runs from October 15 onwards.

We're finding out all sort of cool things about the next generation of console already as they're just around the corner. For example, we now know that the Xbox Series X isn't nearly as hot as some people are saying, and we know that PlayStation is now adding handy guides into games themselves. It's all very exciting and we can't wait to try all these features out next month.
