Sony Announces The Final PS3, PS Vita Games For PS Plus Members

Sony Announces The Final PS3, PS Vita Games For PS Plus Members

February's PS Plus line up has just been revealed. And although fans will no doubt enjoy its six additions, the announcement has left somewhat of a bittersweet taste.

Sony reminded subscribers on the PlayStation Blog that next month's PS Plus roster will be the final time we see PS3 and PS Vita compatible games included. And just when I'd pulled my Vita out again, too. But it also means that members will get more PS4 games, going forward - never a bad thing, especially when PS Plus Cloud Storage has been upgraded to 100GB.

So, to say a fond farewell, all PS3 and PS Vita games for February will stick around a little longer this time, until 8 March. PS4 titles will leave the service on 5 March.

In terms of PS4 games, first on the list is For Honor, Ubisoft's intense PvP fighter. Using swords, axes or spears, as either a Viking, Knight or Samurai, players must time their swings and blocks to perfection. Its combat mechanics are unique, but it shows no mercy.

Next up, Hitman: The Complete First Season. It really needs no introduction (surely). And having the whole of Agent 47's previous-game endeavours in one collection, rather than waiting for each episode to release (as was its original model), is much more convenient for those playing catch-up.

Additionally, owning it may unlock every First Season map in last year's Hitman 2. This promotion was announced prior to the new game releasing, but we thought you needed to buy the game for it to work. We obviously haven't tested this new method yet, so make sure you do.

As for PS3 titles, Divekick and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be yours to own. Platformer Divekick is also available on the PS Vita, in you prefer to game on the go.

Also Vita-bound are Gunhouse and Rogue Aces, both of which can also be played on PS4. This is thanks to Sony's ever-useful cross-buy feature.

And that's about it for February. You can still grab January's PS Plus line up, which is: Steep (PS4), Portal Knights (PS4), Zone of the Enders HD Collection (PS3), Amplitude (PS3), Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion (PS Vita, Cross Buy with PS4) and Super Mutant Alien Assault (PS Vita).
