An Exclusive Spyro: Reignited Trilogy Demo Has Dropped At Gamescom 2018

An Exclusive Spyro: Reignited Trilogy Demo Has Dropped At Gamescom 2018

We're mid-way through this year's annual Gamescom convention and already there's been tons of new trailers and gameplay shown for a number of upcoming titles.

Yesterday, we reported on two exclusive Assassin's Creed: Odyssey trailers - and they were pretty brilliant. Each clip separately portrayed the game's protagonists, Alexios and Kassandra, and all the chaos they can expect to face. Medusa even made an appearance!

However, lucky attendees have just got their hands on a full demo for another 2018 release, and it's sure to get you even more excited for the full title.

None other than Activision's Spyro Reignited Trilogy has taken the limelight at Gamescom, and players have been enjoying never seen before gameplay.

Our GAMINGbible reps at the event have managed to grab hold of the exclusive footage, so sit back and enjoy the demo playthrough:

So, what did you think? I bet it's made the wait even harder!

Unfortunately, said wait was already made hard enough. Just last week, Activision and Toys For Bob, the game's publishers and developers, announced that Spryo's redo would be delayed.

Although it might be the news every Spyro fan feared to hear, it seems like it's the best thing to do. What's a couple months delay when we've already been waiting for so long?

Spyro Reignited trilogy was set to release on 21 September this year but will instead launch on 13 November - let's hope this doesn't get extended even further.

What do you think about this gameplay? Are you looking forward to the full game? What do you think about the delay? Let us know.

There will be more Gamescom Spyro gameplay coming from us, as well at tons of other content regarding the biggest upcoming games! Make sure you stay tuned.
