Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct Will Stream This Week

Nintendo announced that a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate focused Nintendo Direct will broadcast this Thursday.

Starting at 10am ET/7am PT/3pm GMT, it'll be the last Smash Direct shown before the game launches in just over a month's time.

According to an official Tweet, the livestream, led by director Masahiro Sakurai, will end with a post-show Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation.

The presentation should feature gameplay from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokemon: Let's Go! Pikachu and Let's Go! Eevee, Yoshi's Crafted World, and Diablo 3: Eternal Edition.

But for the initial Smash Direct, expect to see a final wave of playable characters added to the already impressive roster - it currently has 72.

Ever since the game was announced, fans have speculated who should fill the brawler's fighter slots, with Sans from Undertale and Shadow the Hedgehog from Sonic two popular picks yet to be introduced.
