The ‘Fortnite’ Crossover With ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Launches This Week
While dataminers had already picked up hints that Fortnite was going to have another crossover with Avengers, the official Fortnite Twitter account has confirmed it will be launching this week.
The tease of the limited time event revealed the mode would be launching on April 25, the same day as the film's release:
While the tease doesn't reveal details of the mode itself, the image does show a Fortnite character holding Captain America's shield, suggesting it will be a larger mode than last time.
It also may mean that hints for this mode were being hidden in plain sight:

Back around the release of Avengers: Infinity War, Epic launched a mode in which players could grab Thanos' gauntlet and turn into the supervillain, unlocking powerful abilities. Players could punch through walls, leap great distances, and slam the ground to hurt other players.
While we believe Thanos is coming back with this mode thanks to lines mentioning him spotted by dataminers, the addition of Captain America's shield suggests more than one player will be able to access super powers at the same time.
The iconic shield may just give players a huge armour boost, but if it follows the films and comics then it may also be a weapon that can be thrown at enemies.
