'Untitled Goose Game' Streamer Turns Himself Into A Human Goose Controller
Untitled Goose Game, as you surely must be aware by now, is a charming, newly-released indie title that has taken the world by storm. It's best described as a cross between Grand Theft Auto and Hitman, in which you take on the role of a vindictive goose whose only role in life is to bring misery to the residents of a small English village. It's fantastic.
Now, to really get the most out of Untitled Goose Game, one must think like a goose. Every waddle, every honk, every flap of the wing must come from a place of truth. Only then can you really understand the beauty of what developer House House has accomplished.
Streamer Rudeism gets this, and he's drawn on his long experience in putting together unothordox gaming controller setups in order to create what has to be the most immersive possible way to play Untitled Goose Game, assembling an elaborate motion-control getup that, as an added bonus, actually works as a goose disguise.
This ultimate goose controller is comprised of flippers that detect movement and help the in-game goose to waddle around town, gloves that flap when Rudeism spreads his arms wide, and a beak that registers head movement and those all-important honks. The beak is also lightly caked in Rudeism's actual blood, for a grisly layer of realism that was lacking in the actual game.

You can watch the full stream for yourself below and marvel in the brilliant insanity of Rudeism's fowl invention. What makes this whole thing even more impressive is that the streamer had apparently never even played Untitled Goose Game until this point, which is a real testament to his inventive prowess.
Unfortunately a loose wire scuppered the ingenious controller a little sooner than planned, but that doesn't take away from the shining moments that Rudeism managed to spend embodying the angry goose. Hopefully he can work with House House to manufacture and ship official versions of this controller in time for Christmas. I'd buy one.
In my own review of Untitled Goose Game, I said that "even a relatively short length can't put too much of a dampener on what is otherwise a perfectly paced, gorgeously designed, and deceptively deep sandbox stealth puzzler with some of the funniest and most satisfying moments you'll experience in a game this year. Untitled Goose Game is guaranteed to keep you laughing - and honking - throughout."
