There's no point hiding it - we were just never going to do any work on the day the sparkly new next-gen console dropped. So it's goodbye work day and hello PlayDay.
Yes, rather than listen to us whine, our bosses sensibly gave us the day to dedicate some serious hours to our PS5.
We're still in our pyjamas and we're not even sorry. Working from home is out, shirking from home is in.

It's not that we'd have been slacking off if we'd been made to work, but I know at least half the WhatsApp group had made life-sized cardboard cut outs of themselves to put in front of Zoom calls while they played Call of Duty in the other room.
So we've been given a PlayDay - and it could not have come at a better time. PS5 launch day.
That means we can play some absolutely massive titles, such as Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Astro's Playroom, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Demon's Souls.
