Microsoft is launching a new initiative called the Xbox Design Lab, allowing you to customise your controller.

Not only will you be able to choose the colour for just about every part, you'll also be able to get it engraved. So, no longer will your little brother, best mate or any other fucker be able to take your controller.

You'll be able to head over to their website and customise everything from the front and back panels to the thumbsticks, D-pads and shoulder buttons.

Microsoft claims that there'll be around eight million different colour combinations.

They've released this pretty cool advert:

According to The Verge, the controllers available will be the same updated ones that come with the Xbox One S. So it'll also have bluetooth.

The controllers aren't going to start being shipped until September, but users in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico can start ordering them now.

The price is a hefty $79.99 (£56.35), plus an extra $9.99 (£7.04) for engraving. But it's worth it, right?

A statement on the Xbox website said: "Xbox Design Lab is open for orders now in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico by visiting the Xbox Design Lab, the official Microsoft Store website, or select Microsoft Stores. Each controller will cost $79.99 USD / $99.99 CAD, and laser engraving is optional for an additional $9.99 USD / $14.99 CAD. For orders placed between now and August, delivery will begin in early September; all other orders will be delivered within 14 business days.

"We're excited to bring Xbox Design Lab to even more markets in 2017 - and, as always, we're continually listening to fan feedback and encourage you to share your experiences through Xbox Feedback. With Xbox Design Lab, the next Xbox controller is truly in your hands, and we're excited to see all the cool creations that our fans make!"

No word yet on when we can order them here in the UK, but you may as well start trying out the different colour combinations for yourself now in preparation.

You can design your own here.
