Well, the days of Pokémon Go users wandering around the streets on their own will soon be gone as Pokémon Go Hub prepares to launch their latest update, giving users a companion (albeit online).
Pokémon Go Hub has figured that some of these avid users just need a buddy. They're coming!

The proposed buddy system will allow users to choose a Pokémon to walk and 'bond' with. They will be able to upgrade their Pokémon, so that their charmanders and Pikachus and whatever else can walk alongside them while hatching eggs and capturing countless Ratatas.
With your new-found buddy, taking it for walks will earn you candy, making it more easy to power them up and upgrade them. It all sounds a bit shallow really; upgrading your friends...
