The new season of football is well underway which can only mean one thing: FIFA 20 is around the corner. In fact, EA Sports have just released the official FIFA 20 rankings trailer so you can almost start planning who you're going to sign in FIFA Ultimate Team. The trailer shows Kaka, Sterling, Lingard, Felix and Ferdinand in a weird bunker.

The official player ratings are not being announced until Monday (9 September), however, a FUT trader who's well respected within the FIFA 20 community has reportedly 'leaked' some player ratings. If they're true, here's the players you must own this year:

Lionel Messi

With Konami snapping up the rights to Juventus this year, there was only going to be one winner of the highest rated player in FIFA 20 and that's Argentinian magician Lionel Messi. Scoring an overall rating of 94 including a 96 in dribbling, you'll be able to dance past defenders with little to no problem at all.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Piemonte Calcio striker, Ronaldo comes in at second place which might have to do with the fact that Juventus are no longer in the game. With an overall rating of 93 and a 93 in shooting, he'll still ping in a fair few goals for you this season.

Neymar

Just below the top two players in the world is wantaway Neymar JR. The left winger has a 92 overall rating with a 95 in dribbling at 99.9 in diving.

Mo Salah

Despite playing for Liverpool, Mo Salah is probably one of the most well-liked superstars of modern-day football. He's been given a massive 90 overall rating with a 93 for pace, making him the perfect option for those who like to play the ball over the top.

Gareth Bale

Despite wanting to swap Madrid for China, Bale still turns up for Los Blancos this season with an impressive overall rating of 85. He has 91 pace, which means he can still leave defenders in his dust if he doesn't get injured in the process.

Eden Hazard

Ronaldo replacement, Eden Hazard slots straight into Madrid's starting line up with an overall rating of 91. Known for single-handedly dragging Chelsea up the table in recent years, it might come as a surprise that he doesn't feature any higher. That said, a 95 in dribbling is nothing to scoff at.
