Google Maps is always watching you. No matter where you are. This could get pretty embarrassing if you are already in a place where you might be body-conscious, like the beach...
If you're anything like me, you cringe when you catch yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning.
Spending the month of January eating only celery and drinking only green tea was supposed to make us lose weight and feel better, but instead we're all just angry and miserable. Well, summer is about to roll back around again and before long it'll be time to hit the beach again.

This can hold its own set of challenges if you're not the kind of person who never puts on weight no matter what they put into their bodies, but some of the people captured by Google Maps prove that even when captured by the candid cameras, we can all look a bit out of shape.

Look at this woman here who has managed to lose a lot of weight before hitting the beach. Her head and back look particularly skinny.

It's not just humans either. This dog has managed to develop two heads.
Yes, these are all very silly, but there is a serious question about whether Google Maps is too invasive into people's lives.

There are a whole load of people who have been made to look silly just because the camera car passed them by at exactly the wrong moment.

Back when the app launched, some people queried whether this migh happen.

Kevin Bankston of the Electronic Frontier Foundation told TIME magazine in 2007: "There's definitely a privacy concern that an unmarked Google camera van can, and in fact has, captured images of people, whether in the street or in their homes, in a manner that could be embarrassing or even dangerous to them.
"We don't think what Google's done here is necessarily illegal, though a few images may cross the line and may create liability. It's more that they've done something that's really irresponsible and rude to people."
This guy captured leaving a sex shop probably agrees.
