Samsung Unveils The First Smartphone With Four Cameras

Samsung have just announced their next smartphone which is set to feature a quadruple camera, Face ID and a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device.

The hotly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy A9 will feature four cameras each with a different use - an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera, a 10 megapixel telephoto camera, a 24 megapixelmain camera and a 5 megapixel depth camera, aimed at the 'Instagram generation'.

This is all an update from the company's last release, the A7, which feature a triple 12 megapixel camera With Wide angle lens to take landscape pictures and Finger print scanner on the side.

The cameras are also aligned on the left side of the phone, similar to that of the new Apple iPhone iPhone XS - but definitely much bigger.

The Korean company's new phone will also feature mobile payment capabilities and expandable storage of up to 512GB.

In their announcement the firm's president of mobile communications, DJ Koh, said: "As a global leader in smartphone innovation, we understand the demand for meaningful innovation in a fast-paced world driven by visual communication.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 is set to go on sale in November this year starting at £549 - retailing over £200 less than the Galaxy S9.

Big tech companies, like Samsung and Apple, have recently come under fire to release lower-priced devices, especially since Apple launched their premium hand-set phone, the iPhone Xs for £999.
